Marion County Courts Have Job Opening Paying $62.4 Million A Year, Parks Job Offers $78.9 Million

Obviously someone isn't proofing the job postings on the City of Indianapolis' website too closely. There's a job opening for an Assistant Director of Finance for the Marion Superior Court that pays $32,000 an hour, or $62.4 million annually.

In the listing of city contracts, it always puts three zeros at the end where the cents are. It must be some glitch in the software. So a $30,000 contract will be listed as for $30,000.000. It appears someone went and tried to add cents on manually and changed the previous dot to a comma. Just a guess.

You don't have to be bright to have a job in Marion County gov't, you just have to be blindly loyal or dumb enough to listen to your masters and go along with whatever b.s. is working it's way down the pipeline.

Every since they implemented their new updated system 3-4 years ago, those type of errors have not been uncommon - and they rarely get corrected.
