House Majority Leader Resigns From Indiana House

SEX VIDEO INVOLVING LAWMAKER SHARED WITH CELL PHONE CONTACTS

UPDATED: In a surprising move, House Majority Leader Jud McMillin (R-Brookville) announced he was resigning as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives immediately after five years of service. McMillin stated in a release to his constituents that the "time is right for me to pass the torch and spend more time with my family." House Speaker Brian Bosma said he fully supported McMillin's "decision to step down in order to focus on his family" and thanked him for his service.

In 2013, an Indianapolis Star report questioned Rep. McMillin's influence in steering casino grant money to businesses that benefited him and his family. The report claimed at the time the FBI was investigating the matter. Internet blog reports had also raised questions about his prior role as a prosecutor in Ohio and whether he used his position inappropriately to engage in sexual relations with a witness assisting him in a case he was prosecuting. The witness with whom he engaged in sexual relations later accused him of sending her graphic nude selfie photos  depicting McMillin pleasuring himself and shoving a dildo up his butt.

The Indianapolis Star is now reporting that McMillin's abrupt resignation followed a strange text message he sent to friends claiming his cell phone had been stolen. "My phone was stolen in Canada and out of my control for about 24 hours," the text message read. "I have just been able to reactivate it under my control. Please disregard any messages you received recently. I am truly sorry for anything offensive you may have received." Wow! History repeats itself?

Yep, the IBJ reports a video of McMillin engaged in a sex act was forwarded to some of his friends.
Sources close to the Republican caucus said someone obtained McMillin’s phone and discovered at least one video that showed the lawmaker involved in sexual contact. The sources did not detail who else was involved.
The sexual act he was performing in the video allegedly involved someone other than his wife. Imagine that. Read more on McMillin's sordid past here.
Cover-up attempt? On September 21, McMillin sent this text message to his contacts, claiming his phone had been stolen

Hooboy! There is much more here to the story other than he wants to "focus" on his family.

And how "convenient" for the corrupt political powers that be to replace Judson with another of their own they can control and then run the new guy as the "incumbent".

Typical Hoosier Republican ploy... state or local.

I'm having memories of Phil Hinkle and the gay prostitute stealing his phone.

I don't expect Gannett to waste a lot of time over this matter....it is above their pay grade and ability. If the Democrats were no so corrupt themselves they could profit from this latest in a long line of corrupt Republicans.

http://www.indystar.com/story/news/politics/2015/09/29/state-rep-jud-mcmillin-resigns/73040942/ House Leadership Ethics and some say that this isn't the end of the story as others may be being blackmailed.....however, rumors and the internet can't be trusted and anyone who believes this man lost his cell phone might be a gullible person.

Corruptable people seem to be escorted into powerful positions with the lure of money, kickbacks, sex etc. Then they can be utilized or disposed of at the will of those who escorted and corrupted them. This guy must have stopped playing along, so his gig is up. He will be replaced by the next corruptable sap.

Did anyone see Scott Pelath almost apologizing for McMillan? That's the sound of someone who has plenty of skeletons in his closet (or buried under I-94 - he is from Michigan City after all) and didn't want to flame the opposition.

Does he know ex-Congressman Weiner from New York City?

He can't even be truthful about why he's resigning.

Mark Small and I had the opportunity to interview Dr. Dennis Cuddy on Mark's Civil Discourse Internet radio show a couple of years ago. Dr. Cuddy served as an Assistant Secretary of Education in the Reagan Administration and has written extensively about the power and influence of the Illuminati. Dr. Cuddy theorizes that their power in this country is so complete it extends to controlling elections at the local level all the way up to the highest office in this country. According to Dr. Cuddy, The Order as the members refer to themselves choose those who will be afforded leadership roles in this country at a very early age before they graduate from high school. Individuals with serious character flaws are preferred because of the ability to blackmail them into doing what The Order commands of them for the better cause. Dr. Cuddy's views seemed farfetched at the moment, but the more that is revealed about the people who attain power in this country, the more convincing his assertions about the power elite seem to be true. Breaking down religious institutions and, in particular, the marriage vow, is a cornerstone of their master plan of instituting a one world socialist government where only an elite few enjoy the the wealth of the New World Order.

Mike, Rep. Pelath, the Democratic Minority Leader, was probably mindful of the predicament Rep. Moed found himself in earlier this year with his sexting scandal involving Sydney Leathers in which his nude photos became public. Note that the Republicans demanded their second highest ranking leader resign from the House while Moed still remains a member of the House.

Jud McMillin cannot be the brightest light bulb on the Christmas Tree. Given all the politicians that found themselves compromised by videos, why would he record this. Perhaps he did not know his philandering was being recorded.

It seems that when our politicians rig the system to enrich themselves like Eric Turner that some how is given a pass. There are other instances where elected officials have enriched themselves, family, cronies and friends and this does not appear on the morality or ethics radar screen.

Curious was Jud McMillin one of these politicians who campaigns on Family Values??

Yes, to an extent he was. He was an opponent of same-sex marriage in particular, which made him a frequent target of those advocating gay rights. I suspect there are other state lawmakers who will be under a great deal of scrutiny by Gannett and others until they agree to pass state civil rights protections for gays and transgenders.
